Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
Have you ever thought about how parenting a child or teen is similar to coaching your clients or managing your employees?
Well, my guest today believes the same coaching strategies that are powerful to motivate 50 year old entrepreneurs are also powerful to guide a 7 year old child. He is experiencing the results of this right now in his life as a dad and a business coach.
For example, Michael says "Coaches work with adults to unravel limiting beliefs gained decades ago in childhood. Why not leverage their knowledge and prevent the limiting beliefs we instill in our children at the source."
Yep, that means YOU the parent can be the coach and set your kiddo's up for success in adulthood.
Our conversation touches on a number of parenting topics including mental health. Michael hopes to change the conversation around mental health "disorders" an instead consider our "NeuroType" aka ADHD (disorder) to ADHN (Neurotype).
Meet Michael Whitehouse. Michael is The Guy Who Knows a Guy.
In 2014, he came to Groton, Connecticut knowing no one at all except his fiancée and unborn daughter. A year later, after diving into networking with both feet, he was a major connector in the local community.
In 2020, he went global and began connecting entrepreneurs, investors, speakers and others around the world to people they need to know.
He offers his services as a networking concierge, making connections and building strategic alliances around the world.
He is the host of the daily Morning Motivation Podcast and The Power Lunch Live Show.
Today he applies what he has learned from talking to hundreds of coaches to

It can be exhausting and frustrating trying to find toxin-free, safe products like sunscreen, deodorant, cleaning products, and laundry detergents that are safe for our kids and family.
As parents, we want the best for our kids and we prefer to buy organic or toxin-free foods and products but it can be expensive and labels are sometimes misleading.
Today's guest shares;
-
How endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) impact puberty, fertility and cell reproduction all throughout life
-
Ways to have comfortable and honest conversations with your children about personal hygiene (and what products to use / avoid based up on their impact to human health)
-
How today's beauty standards affect the mental health of young adults and,
-
Third-party resources and tools you can use to make informed decisions about the products you put on your body and use in your home.

Resilience isn't about strength or being stronger than others.
My guest today describes resilience as rubber-not steel. Our ability to overcome and bounce back when bad things happen.
He shares the importance of delaying gratification, listening to our kids more than telling them what you want them to do, and validating their ideas, efforts, and resilience.

Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
Is your calendar and your "to-do" list causing you to feel overwhelmed? My guest today defines overwhelm as "too much"- too much stuff, too many to-do's, and too many thoughts distracting us from what's truly important.
Too much "stuff" causes choice overload and decision fatigue.
Meet Emily McDermott, owner of Simple By Emmy. Emily shares how her Eliminate, Delegate, Automate framework can help us free up our most important resources of time, energy, focus, and attention.
Addressing Clutter is a key step to eliminate overwhelm- physical, calendar, and emotional clutter impacts our health and well-being as well as our children's health.
Physical clutter raises anxiety and cortisol/stress levels in us and is visual stimulus overload for our children.
A crammed calendar causes us anxiety and stress because it's impossible to "do it all" (as much as we may try) and it is detrimental for kids to be over-scheduled without being able to have the space and time for unstructured play and rest. Limiting beliefs and negative thoughts, as well as distractions from technology and other sources cause us to feel fragmented and makes it harder to be present with our kids and our spouse/partners.

Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
Every Behavior is Communication! It can be tough to deal with behaviors.
Perhaps your child is biting, hitting, kicking, spinning, running into walls or climbing on everything. Maybe as they've grown their risk-taking behaviors are increasing, their attention span is decreasing or maybe they just don't seem to have any ambition to try new things and their self esteem is suffering?
Step one of No-Problem Parenting is to "Seek first to Understand "why my child is behaving the way they are" and why am I, the parent, responding or reacting the way "I am?"
Well today we're gonna do just that. My guest Kristan Weisdack is going to help you get to the heart of the "problem" that you've otherwise considered a mis-behavior.
Kristan Weisdack is the Founder and CEO of BehaviorWorx of Southwestern PA. Her company offers outpatient (virtually and in-person) services as well as in-person and virtual training for parents and professionals that are often frustrated and overwhelmed when navigating behavior issues with their child or learner, particularly those with autism. Kristan’s personal and professional experience has helped her understand the causes of behavior are often rooted in nutrition, allergies, undetected vision issues, and problems that occur early on in life. This holistic approach to behavior is incorporated into every facet of what she and her team do to help others understand and navigate behavior successfully.
Are you a parent of a child with autism, ADHD, or behavioral issues who is frustrated with your current service provider?
Are you feeling overwhelmed with the number of services your child is receiving?
Do you feel discouraged because your child has reached a plateau, but you know they have so much more potential?
Behavior Worx is a great resource for helping you get to the root of your child's behavior problems!
