Parenting has become harder than ever. Combine the pandemic, extreme anxiety, cell phones, and social media, and many parents are at a complete loss for what to do next and fearful to make mistakes.
We created the book, No-Problem Parentig™; Raising Your Kiddos with More Confidence and Less Fear to help parents off the fear bus and gain confidence in your parenting!
The book features 21 authors who share how they are helping parents and kids become confident and kick fear to the curb.
“How do you parent with confidence when problems trigger uncertainty and fear? Insecure parents hover over, give in and feel sorry for their children,” says Finneman. “I designed my book to show parents how it is possible to be the expert of their child while accessing outside support from niched experts who understand the vital role of parents in their child’s lives. This book will inspire parents and provide education and a new perspective that will have parents feeling confident in areas of parenting where they otherwise felt insecure.”
Many parents ask Finneman, “Why isn’t my parenting working”? She suggests that the answer is often one of three things:
1) You’re being too nice.
2) You’re being too mean.
3) You’re trying to solve a problem that you’re not skilled at and attempting to go it alone.
Finneman hopes that her book also helps those who unexpectantly become a parent or accept the responsibility of caring for a child that needs a parent, to address worry and doubt.

Did you know that worry is driven by fear? And at the root of worry is insecurity.
Concern is driven by care and at the root of concern is confidence. Confident parents encourage and lead their children with empathy!
Today I'm gonna list 15 ways that insecurity shows up in our parenting AND 15 things we do when we are parenting from confidence!
Grab a pen and paper and make two categories; Insecure and Confident. Write down the examples that stand out for you in each category. Then decide which areas you might need to work on to become a more confident leader for your kids. Be sure to acknowledge the confident things you are already doing!

Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
Do your kids believe you will follow through when you redirect them? Do they believe you mean what you say? Or, maybe you set a limit, redirect or give a consequence to your child and they misbehave anyway? Maybe they laugh at you, run the other way when you call them or wet noodle to the floor, throw a tantrum and pull out all the stops to get you to give in?
The Sit in the Chair technique is for kids under 5 years old and its designed to stop an unwelcome behavior and helps your child reset without lecturing, yelling, or explaining. They learn that you mean what you say when you are able to follow through without frustration no matter how defiant they become and then.....they begin to trust you. The technique also helps your kiddo think before they act in future situations where they would otherwise be impulsive.
Be sure to plan to have a support person with you the first time you try this technique, and that you have enough time to follow through in case your kiddo challenges your direction.
This matter of fact, cause and effect technique helps your child problem solve without verbal explanations and teaches them to make good decisions on their own, from the inside out.
