Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
Things parents wish they could "fix" about their kids when they reach out to me.
Can you relate?
Do you wish you could;
· Make them reciprocate my love and affection
· Stop annoying behaviors like chewing with mouth open, picking nose, spitting, swearing and other gross stuff
· Hold their attention for more than 2 seconds, make them interested in what I have to say and actually say “Thanks mom” once in a while
· Take their worry away
· Make them confident in themselves
· Have friends and get asked to go to other kids play dates/ events
· Make them feel bad and want to do better
· Make them aware of how they present to others, make them care about what others think
· Make them smarter, easier to get good grades
· Focus
· Get along with others
· Quiet down
· Listen to me
· Sleep better
· Eat better ie less or more or healthier
· Stop hurting their siblings or kids at school
· Stop back talking
· Stop manipulating
· Stop lying
· Stop stealing
· Stop threatening me and others
· Start talking, too shy
· Hang out with us instead of stay in their room by themselves
· Gain control, stop reacting with anger and aggression
· Stop bullying or being bullied, stand up for themselves
· Find motivation, so lazy
· Get involved, join a sport
· Stop interrupting
· Running away
· Screaming/tantrums all the time or for long periods of time

Welcome Back No-Problem Parents!
NEED TO TALK?
TEXT “BRIGHTER” TO 741741
Every year, millions of teenagers struggle with thoughts of depression, deep sadness, isolation, stress, and the feeling of helplessness. Because of their mental health issues, thousands commit suicide, making it one of the leading causes of death among teens in the US.
Sadly, and too often, the parents of these teens are the last to learn about their child's mental problems, and sometimes it's too late to take action.
A Brighter Day aims to stop teen suicide by educating teens and their parents about mental disorders, and providing resources they can use to reach out and communicate when depression and stress are affecting either their own or the lives of those around them.
